Broad Hollow Bioscience Park, Inc.(BHBP) is a not-for-profit entity located on the campus of Farmingdale State College (SUNY) which is designed to support early-stage companies with a need for wet laboratory space. BHBP is composed of 102,500 square feet of space in two facilities. At 3 Bioscience Park Drive, early-stage companies can lease wet lab and office space in increments of 250 SF with onsite vivarium services available for in vivo research. 1 Bioscience Park Drive is fully leased, and currently occupied by a subsidiary of Estee Lauder Companies, Inc. for research and development. Building operations are fully supported and shared equipment is available for tenant use. BHBP is a partnership between Farmingdale State College, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, and the Research Foundation of the State University of New York.
The Broad Hollow Bioscience Park is committed to supporting the development of biotech start-up companies by utilizing shared facility resources, the resources of the Farmingdale State College campus, partnering with surrounding businesses and research institutions, and clustering the growing biotech companies along the Route 110 Bioscience Corridor.
As a not-for-profit, BHBP offers affordable lease rates enabling tenant companies to maximize resources on R&D activities.

Broad Hollow Bioscience Park is a biotechnology research park developed on the campus of Farmingdale State College (SUNY) (www.farmingdale.edu) on Long Island, in conjunction with Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (www.cshl.edu). Broad Hollow Bioscience Park opened in September 2000 and is located on 20 acres of the 38-acre campus park site. Additional bioscience space can be developed on the remaining 18 acres.

To develop an active and growing biotechnology cluster that will attract and retain biotechnology companies in New York.
To generate new well-paying, permanent technology-based jobs in the area, while concurrently developing a highly-skilled workforce capable of satisfying the employment needs of area companies.
To develop mutually beneficial research collaborations for Broad Hollow Bioscience Park companies with Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, other area research institutions, and the local bioscience community.

- The ability to enrich the Farmingdale State College ecosystem through collaboration.
